Japanese Magnolia Blooms

I took these photos a couple of days ago when the blooms were at their peak. We've had crazy thunderstorms here over the past 24 hours, so many of the blooms have dropped.

You're flowers are beautiful! I would love for you to assess why my aloe plant is dying and how to revive it...

Gidget, I know next to nothing about aloe plants, but from experience I know that the #1 mistake people make with houseplants is watering them too much or too little. You want the pot to dry out between waterings. Never let the soil stay wet for too long. I hope that helps. You can email me a picture if you want and I can try to help. lisablair7(at)yahoo.com

Shirley, it was a joy to go out and admire the pretty pink blooms through my camera lens.

Casey, I love the pink ones with white centers. That's the variety that is planted all over the Ole Miss campus. I guess I just got a special one!
