I am taking a break from blogging. We listed our house with Century 21 on May 3rd, and we had our first offer on May 5th. The contract was finalized on May 11th. We close on June 17th.
I do hope to compose some final blog posts about my garden at some point. However, right now life is just too hectic, and I may break into tears if I try to write about this garden that I've put so much time into. So, some distance... and some time...
Later gators.

I sympathize. Three years ago, we sold a house where I had gardened for over 20 years, and moved across the country. It was hard to leave that behind. I didn't even take any plants, just a few seeds.
I hope wherever you land, that you continue to get joy from gardening, and that you continue to blog about it!
Oh Lisa!! so sad! the new owner sure is lucky.
I know it's hard to leave something you love and can't take with you...but there are so many great things ahead!
This makes me sad!! I know how much hard work and time you put into your GORGEOUS yard and gardens. The new owner is one lucky person!!!
Thinking of you and wishing you all the best!

I wonder if she would appreciate if you left her a list or told her about each plant and how to take care of it. For whatever reason it makes me feel better to know that I left it in good, caring, appreciative hands. Wishing ya'll well on your new adventure!
