Here is a photo of my house from Sept 2007:
Notice the cute metal bistro set on the left side of the front porch. Last week Chip and I saw a bistro set in some catalog, and it came in an array of pretty pastel colors. We talked about painting ours a pretty pastel blue. Fast forward to Monday. Chip goes to the store, picks out a can of paint, and before I know it, the darn thing is blue. I mean reaaaaally blue.
So, it is tacky?

Wow. Yeah, that's definitely blue. But I like it! Whimsical and interesting. Better than the color previous.
Now you need to plant something blue in the front yard to mirror the color on the porch!
Your bridal bouquet plants look awesome! Ours are blooming, too, though not quite that big. I kind of like the blue. It looked great the original way, but the "pop" of the blue adds a bit more character. The blue watering can in the first picture caught my eye quickly, much like the table and chairs. :-)
Well, I liked it better before but it'a not ugly, at least.
I like it! It adds a nice color to the front of the house.
It's not my favorite color, but everyone has a right to their own opinion.
The blue is awesome! It really brightened up the porch and is welcoming. I painted my garden fence the same blue and it felt cool and inviting all summer.
That blue is the perfect accent color for your neutral house. In combination with the white flowering shrubs, it's the picture of spring loveliness. Well done! Color rocks! Much better than all neutrals.
